The 3-37 Product Development and Creation Center is a space for constant learning, where we seek to generate experiences and knowledge around the coffee value chain. Most of these activities were being carried out in our main laboratory, and in 2017 we decided to separate them from operational tasks.
Coffee cuppings are a daily exercise in which we test the different coffee samples that come to us from all over Colombia. In this way, we make sure that you receive the best Arabica coffee from our country.
A Q Grader is a professional coffee cupper, certified by the CQI (Coffee Quality Institute), an international non-profit Organization, in charge of working towards improving the quality of coffee and the quality of life of coffee growers around the world.
Our Q Graders are capable of test, evaluate and score Arabica coffee, determining its quality through standardized qualitative methods. In addition, they have the ability to distinguish the different characteristics of coffee throughout the entire production chain (fermentation, roasting, storage, etc.).
